Charity Links in Obits

We created CLIO (Charity Links in Obits), the program that generates millions every year for leading charities and hundreds of media companies, and makes it simple for donors to contribute online. CLIO:

  • Has generated $100s millions since 2007

  • Runs every day and is renewed annually

  • Uses no ad inventory

  • Costs almost zero to operate and deliver

  • Win-Win-Win-Win for charities, donors, Legacy and thousands of newspaper sites

Before:  The name of the charity was not clickable, there was no link

After: The charity name automatically became a clickable link that took the donor directly to the charity’s online donation page

The CLIO program enabled the charity’s online donation page to be so effective because the first name and last name of the deceased were pre-populated, making it fast, easy and convenient for the donor to make the donation.
